ETHICS CPE! - Auditing Culture and Ethical Values in an Organization (2 CPE)

Fri, Dec 11, 2020 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM CST

What is culture? Culture is an organization’s personality - “How we do things around here” or “The Company way”. Culture is the most significant driver for ethical – or unethical – behavior in an organization. Auditing culture and ethical values can be difficult. The topics are sensitive and highly ambiguous and subjective. The recent high-profile ethics failures can be tied to cultures that drive behavior by encouraging, allowing or ignoring the bad behaviors. There is a need to audit culture and ethical values in today’s high-pressure business environment. This webinar will look at the ways to audit culture and ethics.

Learning Objectives:

  • What can be measured to evaluate culture – governance, accountability, fairness, timeliness, training and reaffirmation programs.
  • How communication – methods, delivery, follow up – influence culture and behavior.
  • The impact incentive programs have on individuals and culture.
  • To evaluate the importance of effective HR programs.
