Thanks for being a part of our Verracy Family!

We are kicking off 2022 by re-launching our monthly Newsletter.  Our goal is building community with all of you – our family.  We will be sharing information about our Free Webinars, where we are speaking or facilitating open training events, any new articles or podcasts that we drop (and maybe some that dropped before that we forgot to share), commentary on what we are reading, and even some tips and tricks on everything from Excel, data analytics to productivity hacks.  Our hope is that you will look forward to getting the monthly newsletter and reading it cover to cover (figuratively speaking of course, since it will be virtual).

A Look Back at 2021

Twenty-twenty-one, like 2020 was another challenging year for all of us and it doesn’t look like this virtual stuff is going away any time soon.  Last year, we thought we were finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel; we had dozens of in-person events scheduled in Q4 2021, and then the Delta variant slammed us all.  All but one conference almost immediately switched back to virtual.  The only one that we were attending – the GRC Conference in Denver – ran a live-virtual event and our founder, Mary Breslin was there to present her talk on Data-driven vs Ethical Decision-making to really great reviews.  One fellow presenter commented, “I present quite often so tend to be overly critical, but Mary is one of the best I’ve seen.”

Despite the pandemic, 2021 ended up as one of our best years for our training business.  We saw our Free Webinar Series attendance skyrocket resulting in attendees getting turned away from two of our events (We’re sorry 😥).  We doubled our capacity and registrations are already nearing our new capacity levels.  Incredible!

Last year we launched our new Agile Auditing course to amazing reviews.  We will do a full write-up on it next month talking about why we think it’s such an important and relevant course right now and why we think it is connecting with you.  We ran a Report Writing open enrollment course and it sold out. First time ever we have sold out an open enrollment course.  We were so excited and truly humbled.  And finally, we launched our Brilliant with the Basics series.  We made the recordings available for all to watch after the session and had over 100 people watch the replays that weren’t able to attend.
